We’re just days away from the latest installment of WWE’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. And there’s no denying that the 2020 event will be unlike any other before.
Not only will the majority of the show take place in an empty Performance Center, but the Women’s and Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches will take place at the same time inside WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT.
Six women and six men will battle at the same time, working their way from the ground level up to the roof of HQ to retrieve the coveted briefcase. Opinions are mixed on the decision to have the matches occur at the same time. Yet, this creates unique opportunities for the six women involved to pull off some new “first-ever’s” in WWE.
This year’s field will feature three from Raw (Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Nia Jax) and three from SmackDown (Lacey Evans, Carmella, Dana Brooke). It will be the fifth Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but only the fourth at the titular pay-per-view.
As we prepare to witness history in the making once more, for better or worse, let’s take a look back at how the Women’s Ladder Matches rank so far.
