Becky Lynch vacates the Raw Women’s Championship

Becky Lynch opened tonight’s episode of Raw and revealed that she has to vacate the Raw Women’s Championship.

Lynch mysteriously came down to the ring carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase. “The Man” notably didn’t defend her title last night at the pay-per-view event and the WWE Universe quickly found out why.

Lynch tearfully struggled to make it through this earth-shattering announcement until the 2020 Women’s Money in the Bank winner came out to interrupt her.

That’s when Becky Lynch announced that she is vacating her title and last night’s ladder match was actually a title match. Then, she opened the briefcase to reveal that the Raw women’s title was inside.

So, Asuka is the new Raw Women’s Champion. As Lynch congratulated the new champion she said, “You go and be a warrior, ’cause I’m gonna go be a mother.”

Yes, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are expecting their first child. The couple got engaged back in August. Now, they have even more good news after a rollercoaster year in 2019.

Of course, this unprecedented news means there won’t be a Money in the Bank cash in this year. However, his heartwarming but bittersweet moment will go down in history.

Becky finished her tenure as the longest-reigning Raw Women’s Champion, with 399 days under her belt.

We here at Bell to Belles would like to congratulate Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins on the new addition to their family.
