Tonight during Impact’s pay-per-view event Slammiversary, Deonna Purrazzo walked away as the new Impact Knockouts Champion.

Grace won the belt on the February 11 episode of Impact!, originally taped in Mexico City on January 18, defeating the previous Knockouts Champion, Taya Valkyrie. Graces reign ended at 181 days.

Purrazzo made a few appearances for TNA between 2014-2017, and her return was teased through promo work on the May 26 episode of Impact! She debuted for the promotion on the June 9 episode of Impact! attacking Grace and establishing herself as a heel.
Earlier in the night, Kylie Rae won the Knockouts Gauntlet match to become the no. 1 contender for the Knockouts title. It appears we’ll get Purrazzo vs. Rae, fairly soon.
