At WWE Extreme Rules, Sasha Banks challenged Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship and seemingly walked out as the new champion.

That’s right. Sasha Banks pinned Asuka and “the referee” named her the Raw Women’s Champion.
Banks started off the match strong, bringing the fight to the champion. Eventually, Asuka matched her intensity but for most of the match “The Boss” dominated. She was confident, stategic, and vicious as she targeted her opponents arms.
“The Empress of Tomorrow” fought her way back into the match but Banks responded will every time she made a comeback. It looked like Sasha would capitalize when she escaped a Super German Suplex attempt and landed a double knee strike in the corner.
However, she seemingly tweaked her knee when she went up to the top rope. This allowed Asuka to regain control and force Banks to submit.
Unfortunately, the referee didn’t see the challenger tap out because Bayley interfered. As a result, Asuka tried to use green mist on Sasha but she missed and blinded the referee instead.
So, Bayley took advantage of the situation, put on the referee’s shirt, and counted the pinfall over Asuka. Sasha Banks is unofficially the new Raw Women’s Champion.
