WWE announced on their website that Mickie James will make her long-awaited return on tonight’s edition of RAW.

The former five-time Women’s Champion and one-time Divas Champion hasn’t been on WWE programming for over a year.

James spent the majority of the past year recovering from a successful ACL surgery. She sustained the injury at a live event in June of 2019. While recuperating, the veteran did some commentary work for WWE Main Event.

James apparently was cleared to return to action prior to the outbreak of COVID-19. It is unclear what role Mickie will play now that she is returning to television. As one of the best female wrestlers of all-time, she definitely has at least one more memorable run left in her.
