In October, many of the top Joshi promotions announced that they will join together to host an epic event called Women’s Pro-Wrestling Assemble.
The event will feature STARDOM, Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling, Ice Ribbon, Marvelous Pro Wrestling, OZ Academy Women’s Pro Wrestling, PURE-J Women’s Wrestling, Pro Wrestling WAVE, SEAdLINNNG, and T-HEARTS.
Like all wrestling companies throughout the world, the global pandemic has made a huge financial impact on the industry. This event is a way for all the Joshi companies in Japan to band together despite a history of conflict for the greater good of the business.
There’s no official card for the show yet but this could be a must-see event for Joshi fans. The super show will take place on Oct. 1 at Ueno Park in Tokyo, Japan.
