This week’s Impact Wrestling was highlighted by the return of Tenille Dashwood.
She made her Impact debut one year ago, but has spent the majority of this year away from the ring due to the coronavirus pandemic. Dashwood has gone on record about her battle with the autoimmune disease psoriasis.
Going forward, Tenille Dashwood looks to have her sights set on Deonna Purrazzo’s coveted Knockouts Championship. Purrazzo, Dashwood, and Jordynne Grace shared words during Purrazzo’s Black Tie Affair in which The Virtuosa celebrated her monumental win in Impact’s first Knockouts Iron Man match.
Elsewhere in the Knockouts division, Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary’s on-again, off-again friendship reached a new turning point at “Wrestle House.” The two met in a match with their friend John E. Bravo as the referee, but it was Valkyrie who emerged victorious. Post-match, Bravo proposed to Rosemary. Taya gave her blessing, so Rosemary accepted.
Following the resolution of their issues, everyone from Wrestle House was transported back to the Impact Zone, just in time to cause even more chaos during the Black Tie Affair.
Now that everyone is back under one roof, where does the Knockouts division go from here?
Kylie Rae and Susie will appear on Madison Rayne’s Locker Room Talk next Tuesday. There’s also a strong chance that Grace and Dashwood will do battle at some point to determine a challenger for Purrazzo. Will Dashwood be able to secure a title match at Bound For Glory for a second year in a row? Or will Kylie Rae “call her shot” and rise to the occasion? Don’t count out Kimber Lee either, who seems to have formed a partnership of sorts with The Virtuosa.
