SHIMMER announced via Twitter late Wednesday that indie wrestler Kenzie Paige would be a making her SHIMMER debut as part of the upcoming independent wrestling event, The Collective.
Paige debuted professionally last year, wrestling in various events for IWA Mid-South Wrestling and AAW Pro, competing against indie talent like Hyan, Christi Jaynes, and ThunderKitty. In May, Paige started appearing sporadically for AEW, competing in two AEW Dark episodes and three episodes of AEW Dynamite. Though fairly new to the scene, Paige has already fought against Penelope Ford, Nyla Rose, Allie, and Brandi Rhodes.
In August, GCW announced they would be rescheduling the shows they were forced to cancel due to COVID-19 into one large event dubbed The Collective. The three-day event starts Oct. 9 and takes places at The Coliseum at The Marion County Fairground in Indianapolis. The event coordinators have also announced COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed during the event, including sitting The Coliseum at no more than 25 percent capacity. GCW, Glory Pro Wrestling, Freelance Wrestling, and Black Label Pro are among the promotions that will run shows, during the event.
Tune-in Oct. 9-11 on FITE to see Kenzie Paige make her SHIMMER debut at a show that’s already featuring Nevaeh, Kimber Lee, Deonna Purazzo, Allysin Kay, Priscilla Kelly, and many more.
