PWI Women’s 100 Interview Series: #50 Laynie Luck

In collaboration with PWI, Bell To Belles interviewed over 20 women who have ranked on this year’s PWI Women’s 100 ranking. Bell To Belles will release one interview per day, celebrating the past year in women’s wrestling.

Laynie Luck, who ranked #50 on the 2020 PWI Women’s 100, chatted with Warren Hayes of Bell To Belles on her last year in wrestling, her record-breaking Zelo Pro Women’s Championship reign, and her desire to learn more from the indie scene before moving on to something bigger.

This coming Saturday, Luck stands to possibly lose her Zelo Pro Women’s Championship, when she defends the belt against Alex Gracia at the promotion’s Milwaukee event, “The Show Must Go On”.

The match against Gracia has been rescheduled twice—once due to travel issues and once due to COVID-19. Luck had some choice words when asked if she thought Gracia took the two reschedules to better prepare for the upcoming match.

I follow her on Instagram and Twitter and I see her working out. I see her taking her selfies in the ring and posting on her stories. But I mean, I’m doing the same things. And honestly, I can tell you, no one’s working as hard as I am.
