In collaboration with PWI, Bell To Belles interviewed over 20 women who have ranked on this year’s PWI Women’s 100 ranking. Bell To Belles will release one interview per day, celebrating the past year in women’s wrestling.

Shazza McKenzie, who ranked #62 on this year’s list, chatted with Warren Hayes of Bell To Belles on her last year in wrestling, being stuck in Australia, and challenging the AEW Women’s Champ.

After quitting her job to book a ticket to the States, McKenzie was literally on her way to the U.S. for months of bookings, when the travel ban made her return to Australia, being forced into quarantine. Shazza shared how she felt after losing out on over 30 shows, and her thoughts on when she’ll be able to return.

I don’t see myself wrestling likely again this year, because of how it is in Australia. Until we get a vaccine, Australia’s not going to let me out of my country.
