ROW Wrestling School graduate AQA is All Elite.
Wednesday, high-flying AQA appeared for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on Dynamite, challenging Jade Cargill for her TBS Championship in a TBS Title Open Challenge. Though Cargill retained her title in another strong showing, AQA connected with the fans, most notably after landing an impressive Shooting Star Press, seen below.
The Alabama-native must have also made a lasting impression with management, because only two days later, AEW President Tony Khan announced AQA had signed with the promotion.
In February 2021, it was confirmed by Booker T that AQA had signed with WWE, taking on the moniker Zayda Ramier. Ramier mader her NXT debut one month later, but after five matches with the company, it was confirmed in November she had been released.
On an episode of A Wrestling Gal with Ella Jay, the former basketball and softball player explained she had been sidelined after suffering shakes and hot flashes while training. Though she passed all of the medical tests WWE administered, the medical condition was still considered to be “unknown”, resulting in her medical disqualification from competing with WWE. It was later determined AQA was suffering from dehydration.
AQA has wrestled professionally for four years, appearing for various promotions, like Reality of Wrestling, IMPACT, RiSE, and SHIMMER. She has held the ROW Diamonds Division Championship twice, last holding the title in August of 2019.
