Athena is officially All Elite.
Sunday, after Jade Cargill successfully defended her title against challenger Anna Jay, Athena made her debut for AEW at Double Or Nothing 2022.
The former NXT Women’s Champion came to the aid of Jay and Kris Statlander, after Cargill and her Baddies, Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet, ganged up on Jay.
On November 4, 2021, it was confirmed that the 33-year-old, known as Ember Moon had been released from her contract with WWE.
Since her release, Athena has been tearing up the independent circuit. The Texas-native is the current Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion, having won the vacant title in April against Shazza McKenzie and Skye Blue.
