3 Takeaways from WrestleMania 36 Night 2
WWE prides itself on delivering big moments at this time of the year and this weekend didn’t disappoint. With the first of two parts in the books, the company saved its biggest surprises for WrestleMania 36 Night 2.
Given the circumstances, WWE put together two great nights of wrestling but the second night was probably the better of the two. If one thing was consistent all weekend, it was the performance of their women’s division. On Night 2, their female Superstars stole the show.
Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley produced an excellent NXT Women’s Championship match that easily upstaged both world title matches this weekend. Meanwhile, the SmackDown women’s division contributed a surprisingly good Fatal Five-Way Elimination match that planted seeds for storylines to come.
Both matches will have a big impact on WWE’s programming for the next few months. Whether you agree with the outcomes or not, is largely subjective. One of them will definitely be controversial, to say the least.
However, the best WrestleMania events act as a season finale of sorts that resets storyline for the year. This year’s edition of “The Show of Shows” put the women’s roster in an interesting position for the remainder of 2020.
With that said, let’s take a look at what happened on WrestleMania 36 Night 2.
