This just in, for some late breaking news, AEW on TNT announced via Twitter mere minutes ago another addition to the All Out card. Live at the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, Illinois, Riho will be taking on Hikaru Shida. This match serves as the first and, so far, only women’s match to take place on the Pay-Per-View’s main card. Meanwhile, the 21-women Casino Battle Royale will take place on the “Buy-In” pre-show.
This will be the first time we will be seeing Hikaru Shida on an AEW PPV since Double or Nothing, where she and Riho won a Six-Woman Tag Team Match. Meanwhile, Riho has competed at every AEW PPV thus far since their PPV debut. Most memorably, she pulled off a shocking upset at Fyter Fest when she pinned “The Barbie Breaker,” Nyla Rose.
While Riho has been working with AEW on a per appearance freelance basis and will start working with Stardom as of this month, Shida signed with the company back in April. Both women arrived to the AEW stage as to of the very best athletes that Joshi wrestling has to offer. This is not only a hotly anticipated for fans of Joshi, but is expected to be quite the fun contest.
We will see if they can deliver on those expectations on Aug. 31 at All Out.
