AEW signs female referee, Aubrey Edwards
AEW announced on their Twitter page last night that they have signed several referees to contracts. Besides legend Earl Hebner, they signed female referee Aubrey Edwards. Last year, Edwards received a lot of exposure when she worked with WWE. She along with female referee Jessika Carr worked for NXT. Both women also refereed during the second annual Mae Young Classic this past year.
Edwards responded on her Twitter account after the announcement was made.

When Rhodes was interviewed for Muscle & Fitness back in February, she spoke about the role women will have in All Elite Wrestling.
“What All Elite Wrestling does is it just creates more opportunities for women. We’re obviously a growing organization, and we plan to be around for a long time to come. It’s just going to provide that much more opportunity for these women to continue to be in the industry that they grown to love, and most of us don’t want to put it down at some point.”
