Ariane Andrew will officially return to wrestling this spring. The former WWE Diva, known as Cameron, will make her in-ring return at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch during WrestleMania weekend.
This will be Andrew’s first match since she was released by WWE in May of 2016. Her last match with the company was a six-woman tag match at a live event featuring Alicia Fox, Paige, Sasha Banks, Tamina, and her former partner—Naomi.
Andrew’s last televised match was on NXT, where she faced off against Alexa Bliss.
Ariane Andrew was popular during the Divas Era for her time as one half of the Funkadactyls. She went on to gain a following as a singles competitor after she and Naomi split up because of her memorable catchphrases.
Last January, Andrew hinted that she would return soon during an interview with Ring the Belle. She made an official announcement on her YouTube channel in May.
Now we know her return match will happen this April in Tampa, FL during WrestleMania weekend. EFFY broke the news that she would appear at his show, which is hosted by Game Changer Wrestling.
EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch will take place at The Cuban Club in Ybor City at 11 am EST.
