It appears WWE Superstar Bayley will be out of in-ring action until next year.
Friday, WWE announced Bayley suffered an injury while training for her upcoming Money In The Bank match against Bianca Belair, and predicted she would be out approximately nine months.
WWE also announced her replacement for the match would be announced during Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Bayley and Belair have been in a feud since before WWE WrestleMania Backlash, where Belair defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship successfully against the former two-time and longest-reigning champion. The two continued their feud throughout WWE Hell In A Cell, where Bayley lost another title challenge.
Both women wrestled last in a mixed tag match, pairing with Cesaro and Seth Rollins, respectively.
WWE Money In The Bank 2021 will air live on Peacock and the WWE Network live on Sunday, July 18, starting at 8:00 p.m. EST.
