Becky Lynch tops PWI’s 2019 ‘Women’s 100’ List

on

Today, Pro Wrestling Illustrated named Becky Lynch the no. 1 women’s wrestler in the world on their 2019 “Women’s 100.”

Ronda Rousey was listed as no. 1 last year, making this the second consecutive year that a current Raw Women’s Champion earned the honor. Lynch came in at no. 11 respectively.

Her leap to the top spot sums up the massive year she had coming out of 2018. The list is based off accomplishments from October 2018 to 2019. They also take into account title wins, competition, wins and losses, and status with the promotion they work with.

It would be hard to argue any woman has accomplished more in that timeframe than Becky Lynch. This is another impressive accolade that “The Man” can add to her growing legacy.

This is the second year PWI ranked 100 women. They’ve listed the top 50 women’s wrestler, starting in 2008. They expanded the list to 100 in 2018.
