Big Swole to make AEW Dynamite debut this week

AEW just announced that the new signee, Big Swole, will make her debut on this week’s episode of Dynamite in a match against Emi Sakura.

Swole has made four appearances on AEW Dark since she took part in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale at All Out in August. She cut an entertaining promo and had a standout performance in her match with Shanna on episode eight of Dark.

Last month, bodyslam.net reported that the company was so impressed with Swole’s performance that they offered her a contract. AEW never made a formal announcement but the news became official when Jeremy Lambert of Fightful confirmed it with Swole.

This has been a strong year for the current Pheonix of RISE Champion. She won the title, her first singles championship, at The Summit, where she defeated Zoe Lucas. Afterward, women’s wrestling legend, Bull Nakano, presented her with the title in front of the Toronto crowd.

In September, she and Aja Perera won the SHINE Tag Team Championship. The team, known as Triple Aye, became the first black women to hold the titles in the promotion’s history.

The sky is the limit for the newest addition to AEW’s women’s division heading into 2020. We’re certain you will see her name more often in the months to come.

Don’t miss Big Swole’s first televised match with AEW this Wednesday on Dynamite. Be sure to check back with Bell to Belles for more women’s wrestling news.
