Big Swole will enter AEW’s Casino Battle Royale

This morning, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) revealed the new Pheonix of RISE Champion, Big Swole, will enter the Women’s Casino Battle Royale.

The newest entrant, who was formerly known as Aerial Monroe, made waves earlier this month when she defeated Zoe Lucas to become the eighth Phoenix of RISE Champion at the Summit.

RISE Wrestling became an official vendor at Starrcast earlier this year. Big Swole, Priscilla Kelly, and Shotzi Blackheart will appear at the event on behalf of the promotion.

So, it wasn’t hard to guess someone from RISE would also compete in the Casino Battle Royale. Who better than their new champion, who is already an up-and-coming star?

It will be a busy for RISE as the Talent on the RISE podcast will also be featured at Starrcast on Friday, Aug. 30. Even more, they will host their Regional Rising Stars Tournament on the day after All Out, at the Berwyn Eagle Club.

This will be the first in a series of tournaments RISE will host in 2019 to showcase young, up-and-coming talents from their geographic areas. In addition, Big Swole will also defend her title for the first time at the event.

This great news for the local promotion. Hopefully, it’s a way to introduce themselves to a new group of fans.

The Regional Rising Stars Tournament will take place on Sunday, Sept. 1 in Berwyn, Illinois at 3 pm CST. Tickets are available here.

AEW’s Women’s Casino Battle Royale will take place on the All Out preshow, The Buy-In, on Saturday, Aug. 31. The event will be available on B/R Live.
