Britt Baker has surpassed seven other bracket competitors to become the inaugural winner of the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

During Sunday’s Double Or Nothing event, AEW aired the final match of the women’s tournament, featuring Ruby Soho and Britt Baker. Even after Soho put Baker into a Sharp Shooter, Baker managed to land counter after counter to get the win. After the match, Martha Hart presented the Owen cup and belt to both tournament winners, Baker and Adam Cole.
The last time the two faced each other was last September at Grand Slam, when Baker defended her AEW Women’s World Championship against Soho. It was the only other match where the two faced each other in singles competition.
To get the finals, Baker had to directly defeat Danielle Kamela, Maki Itoh and Toni Storm. Soho had to directly defeat Robyn Renegade, Riho and Kris Statlander.
Baker was the fourth AEW Women’s World Champion, losing the title to the current holder Thunder Rosa in March after 290 days.
