In line with reports that surfaced earlier today, during tonight’s pay-per-view, WWE TLC, Charlotte Flair returned to the ring for the first time in six months.

Flair made her return as Asuka’s mystery tag team partner, facing Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The duo would finish the match strong, overpowering Baslzer and Jax with energy and the element of surprise, to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
In June, Flair was written off television with a storyline injury after losing to Asuka on an episode of Raw. The Superstar later revealed she had needed the break to correct an on-going implant issue that was causing possible silicone poisoning.
The tag team title win for Charlotte Flair makes her the fourth women in WWE to grab the title of Grand Slam Champion—a wrestler who has won four different championships during their career with a promotion. The other three women, in order, who garnered the title were Bayley, Asuka, and Sasha Banks.
