Charly Caruso snags new role with ESPN

WWE host and interviewer Charly Caruso announced today that she would be taking on a new role with ESPN.

Caruso detailed in an Instagram post that she would be one of three co-hosts for a new ESPN podcast—”First Take, Her Take”. Los Angeles Sparks player Chiney Ogwumike, the first Black woman to host a national radio show for ESPN, and ESPN NFL reporter and writer Kimberley Martin will be her co-hosts.

Charly Caruso first started making appearances for ESPN in late 2018, appearing on First Take in 2019 and handling SportsCenter and ESPN accounts. Prior to joining WWE in June 2016, Caruso acted as a freelance co-host for The BOB and TOM Show, a sports anchor and reporter for multiple FOX affiliates, and a journalist for an NBC affiliate and Gannett.

The first episode of “First Take, Her Take” will be released tomorrow, Jan. 20, on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, with one episode per week to be released following the debut.
