During a recent live Q&A session, Chris Jericho revealed that Taynara Conti will make her AEW debut in the Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament.
Apparently, Conti will team up with Anna Jay against Nyla Rose and Ariane Andrew in a pre-taped match for “The Deadly Draw”. Jericho has seen the match and he was “impressed” with both teams.
“I didn’t know what to expect, but I watched this match,” he said. “All four girls just kick ass. It was really good. Was way, way bigger, way better than I expected, and not saying that in any negative way, they really impressed me, all of them, and hopefully will get to see more of them because it was really cool,”

On Wednesday, AEW released the rules for the “The Deadly Draw.” Each team will be randomly selected. Participants must select a colored chip and the person who picks the matching color will be their partner.
Ariane Andrew made her surprise debut last week when she became Nyla Rose’s partner. It would seem that Anna Jay and Taynara Conti are the second official team.
Conti was one of many wrestlers WWE released back in April. Since there have been some rumblings that she could join IMPACT’s Knockouts division.
Nevertheless, Taynara Conti will compete in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw. The event will begin on Monday night on the company’s YouTube channel.
