Fatal four-way match announced for GCW For The Culture

Tuesday night, AJ Gray announced the first women’s match for GCW For The Culture. At the event, Faye Jackson, Tasha Steelz, Marti Belle, and Willow Nightingale will compete in a fatal four-way match.

Back in October, Gray revealed that The Collective will host an event to showcase wrestlers of color called GCW For The Culture. The initial announcement coincided with ACH’s controversial struggle with WWE.

Despite the divisive news surrounding the hashtag, Gray promised, “This is going to be a show FOR US! BY US!” The event isn’t attached to ACH, but the call for better representation is still relevant. This show serves as a solution and a beacon for change during WrestleMania weekend.

Gray’s second match announcement brings together a star-studded group of four of the hottest women of color in independent wrestling. Faye Jackson has become a name to watch over the last four years. As a matter of fact, she is producing her own event on the following day, Apr. 4.

Tasha Steelz and Marti Belle have both been active as part of NWA’s women’s division. They also respectively hold titles for various indie promotions. One half of CHIKARA’s Campeonatos de Parejas Champions, Willow Nightingale, rounds out the foursome.

GCW For The Culture will take place on Friday, Apr. 3 at 11 pm EST at The Cuban Club in Tampa, Fl.
