The Wonder of Stardom Tournament to name a new “white belt” began on Friday and now we know who will compete in the finals.

STARDOM announced the tournament over the weekend following the events of their second show at Shin-kiba 1st Ring. The Wonder of Stardom Championship is currently vacant because Arisa Hoshiki was forced to retire earlier this year.

The first round of the tournament was the centerpiece of STARDOM’s return to Korakuen Hall on Friday. At the same event, Maika won the Future of Stardom Championship. By the end of the month, the company will crown another new champion after months of speculation.

In the semi-finals, the 2020 Cinderella Tournament Winner, Giulia took on Konami. Meanwhile, the former champion’s friend and partner, Tam Nakano, faced Natsuko Tora.

First, Giulia defeated Konami to advance to the finals. In the main event, Nakano pinned Natsuko to move one step closer to fulfilling her promise to become Arisa Hoshiki’s successor.

So, the finals are officially set. Giulia and Nakano will continue their heated rivalry, which has been brewing since STARDOM returned from hiatus. Next weekend, it will finally come to ahead as they clash for the “white belt.”

The Wonder of Stardom Tournament finals will take place on July 26 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
