Born in Philadelphia, Gabby Ortiz grew up in a household of wrestling fans. At a Meet and Greet for Seth Rollins, she made the decision to train to become a professional wrestler. She trained at The World Famous Monster Factory in New Jersey and made her debut at the end of 2016.
Since her debut, Ortiz has wrestled all over the globe. Her resume includes work with STARDOM, ROH, WrestlePro, and WSU to name a few. Ortiz is currently the Monster Factory Pro Girls Champion.

Trained: “I trained at The World Famous Monster Factory in Paulsboro, NJ and Worldwide Dojo in Bristol, PA. I was trained by Danny Cage, Damien Priest, QT Marshall, Blue Meanie, and Cheeseburger.
Debut Match: Dec. 16, 2016, for Monster Factory Pro Wrestling. Gabby Ortiz vs. Riley Shepard.
When she started watching pro wrestling:
“Pro Wrestling was always on in my house growing up. My brother and dad have always been big fans so I don’t remember a time where wrestling wasn’t a part of our TV time.”
When she made the decision to start training:
“I was toying with the decision to start training since I was about 19 years old. I didn’t pull the trigger because I truthfully didn’t feel like I could ‘make it’. But in 2015, I went to a Meet and Greet for Seth Rollins before the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia. I was standing in line and I had this voice in my head telling me to just jump in and email that school in Jersey I was reading up on. I couldn’t shake it so in the middle of the night I emailed Danny Cage and tried out for his school about a week later. I never looked back.”
Inspirations in the ring:
“My inspirations from the past and present are Chyna and AJ Lee.
Both total opposites spectrums of female wrestlers, but there’s aspects of both of them that I look up to. AJ is the main reason I felt someone my size could make it in this business.”
Her in-ring style:
“I have a pretty hybrid style of fast paced movements and mat wrestling skills.
My trademark moves are a swinging neckbreaker, DDT, basement dropkick and an octopus hold.”
Favorite match to date:
“My favorite match was against Hana Kimura in Nagoya Japan for STARDOM.”
Favorite opponent to date:
“My favorite opponent is a little harder to answer. I’ve wrestled so many amazing men and women. I can’t choose. It feels impossible! “
Dream Opponent:
“I would love to finally wrestle Deonna Purrazzo. “
Future Goals:
“Given the climate of the world, my goals for the future are as simple as filling up dates to make up for the cancelled and postponed shows that we all have missed out on. “
Inspirational words:
“The main thing I want to share is to continue to support the indies despite this break. We still want to keep the momentum we had going before all this. Share matches you’ve loved, talk about your favorites and if it’s in your means buy some merch! We’re all in a weird place right now and for the first time in probably recorded Independent Pro Wrestling history, we have an off-season. It’s new and strange for everyone involved, performers and fans alike so let’s keep having each other’s backs and make our comeback as strong and exciting as possible!
