IWTV enters partnership with Sendai Girls

Friday, IWTV announced that they have entered a partnership with Sendai Girls, which will allow them to add the Joshi promotion to their library.

One of the premier women’s wrestling promotion’s in the world, Japan’s Sendai Girls, debuts on IWTV this Thursday night (4/23) at 10 pm EDT with their 2016 event Big Show in Niigata.

The show’s main event sees Japanese wrestling legend Meiko Satomura take on current WWE star Io Shirai for the Sendai Girls World Championship.

In addition to the debut of Sendai Girls, Thursday will also see the IWTV premiere of the Shimmer, Rise and Smash Wrestling joint show “The Summit.,” at 7:30 pm EDT.

This is great news for Satomura’s Joshi promotion. It gives them the chance to raise their profile as IWTV will give international fans exposure to Sendai Girls.

STARDOM will eventually gain access to a new fan base with the help of New Japan’s parent company, Bushiroad, who acquired them last year. This partnership with IWTV will give Sendai Girls the opportunity to compete with them.

Their 10 Year Anniversary Show, Big Show in Niigata, will premiere on IWTV this Thursday at 10 pm EST. The card will feature notable names such as Hiroyo Matsumoto, Hikaru Shida, Nyla Rose, Aja Kong, and Io Shirai.
