Kairi Sane was cleared to wrestle at a Raw branded house show on Friday night in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Sane took to Twitter to express her excitement about her return with the caption “I’m back. I love wrestling”. At the show, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Natalya defeated The Kabuki Warriors and Sarah Logan.
This was Kairi Sane’s first match since TLC in December, where she suffered an undisclosed injury during the main event. Sane looked disoriented throughout the match, which caused many people to speculate that she may have had a concussion.
WWE didn’t confirm the extent of her injury but they pulled her from upcoming shows for the remainder of the year. She just returned to the road earlier this week.
This news comes at the perfect time with Royal Rumble coming up next weekend at Minute Made Park. “The Pirate Princess” appeared in both women’s Royal Rumble matches.
Now that we know Kairi Sane is cleared to compete again it looks like she will make a third appearance at this year’s event.
