Ring of Honor has announced that Lindsay Snow and Heather Monroe will take part in their Women’s World Title Tournament.
The addition of Snow and Monroe confirms fifteen of the sixteen women who will compete for the inaugural ROH Women’s World Championship.
Previously announced participants include Ashley Vox, Gia Scott, Miranda Alize, Alex Gracia, Mandy Leon, Session Moth Martina, Tasha Steelz, Jenny Rose, Sumie Sakai, Angelina Love, Kellyanne, Katarina, and Nicole Savoy.
“The American Kaiju,” Lindsay Snow has a background in competitive Brazilian jiu-jitsu. She utilizes her skills in martial arts in the ring.
Snow, who trained for pro wrestling under two-time former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, has made a name for herself on the independent circuit since making her debut in 2016. She’s already won regional titles and recently made it all the way to the finals of a 16-woman tournament to crown a new champion in the Shine promotion.
Heather Monroe is an Iowa-based wrestler who made her in-ring debut in 2016. Known as “Killer Bae,” she has trained at the Santino Bros. Wrestling Academy.
Her opponents would be wise not to underestimate Monroe because of her glamorous appearance and snobbery. She’s a skilled competitor who won’t hesitate to try to rearrange an opponent’s face with a stiff kick or drop them on their head with a bone-jarring Dragon Suplex.
The ROH Women’s World Championship Tournament will begin at Quest For Gold on Apr. 24 in Philadelphia, PA at the 2300 Arena.
Check back with Bell to Belles for the announcement of the final participant for the tournament.
