Indie sensation, Masha Slamovich has been in Japan on an extended stay as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Her original return to the states was to take place in April but she remains in Japan training and wrestling at the Marvelous Dojo.
Slamovich is taking advantage of her time in Japan and on Aug. 2 she will make her debut for Sendai Girls. Sendai Girls was created by legends Meiko Satomura and Jinsei Shinzaki. The Joshi promotion has been around for 15 years.
At the event which takes place at Miyagino Ward Cultural Center, “The Russian Dynamite” will battle fellow Marvelous trainee, Mei Hoshizuki. Mei has wrestled for Sendai Girls on many occasions and also Pro Wrestling Wave.
Lauren Founds from Bell to Belles asked Masha Slamovich about her debut for the promotion. She had this to say, “I’ve waited for years to finally get a chance to work for Sendai Girls. I have always loved the strong style ways of the promotion as well as being a fan of Meiko Satomura and her work.“
At just 22 years old, Slamovich is making the most of a difficult situation by honing her craft and adding to an already impressive resume.
