According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has cleared Nia Jax to return. Jax has been out action for almost a year recovering from double ACL surgery.

The last time Nia wrestled in front of a live crowd, was at last year’s WrestleMania. She along with Tamina were one of the four teams that take part in a fatal four-way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Johnson, also reported that she will be at this Friday’s SmackDown taping. It’s unknown whether or not she will appear on television. With WrestleMania just three weeks away, it may be too soon for Jax to return and insert herself into a meaningful feud.

Nia Jax is a dominant force in the women’s division and now that she is healthy, she deserves a spot at the top of the card.
