This weekend, Chicago hosted AEW’s latest PPV, All Out. Miles away in Berwyn, another huge event took place. RISE Wrestling and the Berwyn Eagles Club hosted The Regional Rising Stars Tournament. Those in attendance were blown away by the talent that performed in the ring.
The tournament winner was young up and comer, Laynie Luck, who is destined for greatness. The match of the night, according to many, was Priscilla Kelly vs. Jake Atlas. RISE did not disappoint. As they continue to do time and time again, they showed why they are one of the best promotions in professional wrestling.

First Round of the tournament
Laynie Luck defeated Hawlee Cromwell via pinfall
Sierra defeated Queen Aminata via submission
Max The Impaler defeated Valentina Loca by pinfall
Sophie King defeated Elayna Black by pinfall
After King won the qualifying match, Parrow came out to the ring. He attacked security and powerbombed King into the security guards.

Laynie Luck defeated Sierra via pinfall
Max The Impaler defeated the badly beaten Sophie King
Final Round of the tournament
Laynie Luck defeated Max The Impaler to become the winner of the Regional Rising Stars Tournament
Guardians of RISE Tag Team Championship – The Final Battle
Killer Death Machine defeated the team of Paradise Lost, who were accompanied to the ring by Rosemary. The match had an “anything goes” stipulation. The winners retained their titles by simultaneously pinning Rosemary on a trash can.
Special Challenge Match
Effy defeated Devon Monroe by submission
Double D Rose presents The Bunz of Steel Challenge
The challenge was accepted by the Phoenix of RISE Champion Big Swole. This match was now for the championship belt. Big Swole retained her belt when she pinned Double D Rose.
Special Challenge Match
Jake Atlas defeated Priscilla Kelly after a fast paced physical match. The audience gave this the “match of the night’ accolade.
RISE’s next big event, La Escalera, will take place on Friday, Nov. 1 at their home base in the Berwyn Eagles Club.
