Independent wrestling sensation Shazza McKenzie is the latest name to be announced for this Saturday’s AEW Casino Battle Royale. McKenzie began her career at the early age of 16 years old in her home country of Australia. Since her debut, she has wrestled all over the globe including at Shine, Shimmer, Rise and NXT.
McKenzie is thrilled to be included in this Battle Royale where the winner gets a chance to compete for the inaugural women’s championship. After AEW made the announcement, McKenzie took to Twitter to share her excitement on being included.
“Everything I did this year in an effort to chase this dream was all for this moment. All I wanted was a chance to prove I could belong on the big stage. But I didn’t come this far to ONLY come this far. I’m coming to WIN! ”
Yesterday, All Elite Wrestling announced legend Awesome Kong was the 21st name announced for the Casino Battle Royale. With the addition of Shazza McKenzie, nine more ladies will be added to the match.
