Monday, STARDOM announced several title matches for their upcoming live event including a match for the vacant Future of Stardom Championship.
July is set to be a big month for the Joshi promotion as they return to Korakuen Hall this Friday. At the legendary venue, STARDOM will kick off the Wonder of Stardom Tournament.
Four women will compete in a two-round tournament for the vacant title. In the semi-finals, Tam Nakano will face Natsuko Tora while Giulia takes on Konami. The winners will move to the finals, which will take place on July 26.
This weekend, STARDOM will also crown a new Future of Champion. Utami Hayashishita vacated the title back in February to make a run at the “white” and “red belt.” Maika, Saya Iida, and Saya Kamitani will compete in a triple threat match for the belt on Friday, July 17.
STARDOM has more title matches in store later this month. First, they confirmed that Mayu Iwatani will defend the World of Stardom Championship against Jungle Kyona on July 24 in Nagoya.
In addition, the Artist of Stardom Championship will be on the line as Oedo Tai challenges Donna del Mondo on July 23. Lastly, Riho will defend her High Speed title against AZM and Starlight Kid in a Three Way Battle on July 26.
