This match will mark the first time women have ever appeared at Wrestle Kingdom. The current World of Stardom Champion, Mayu Iwatani and the Wonder of Stardom Champion, Arisa Hoshiki, are the perfect representatives for the promotion.
On the other hand, recent signee, Giulia, and Hana Kimura just competed in a match at Year-End Climax 2019. Their fight ended in a time-limit draw. So, it’s curious to see them team up for this event.
Stardom and New Japan also revealed the this will be a dark match. Thus, it won’t appear on njpwworld but it will be on the card for the first show of the two-night event.
Nevertheless, this is a historic event. It is a huge honor for these four women to appear at Wrestle Kingdom at the Tokyo Dome. Hopefully, this will make way for more appearances or cross-promotional shows in the future.
