Takumi Iroha to replace Sareee at STARDOM event

This Saturday, Takumi Iroha will replace Sareee at the upcoming Stardom event. Unfortunately, Mayu Iwatani’s original challenger had to withdraw from their World of Stardom match.

This weekend, Sareee was scheduled to make her STARDOM debut in a title match with Mayu Iwatani. However, she won’t be able to make an appearance because of “acute enteritis and a high fever.”

Instead, Marvelous’ Takumi Iroha will step in as a replacement. The match won’t be as high profile without the former World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana World Champion, but Iwatani and Iroha have an interesting history together.

Two years ago, they faced each other in the main event of a Marvelous at show at the very same venue, Korakuen Hall. Iroha also started her career with STARDOM. She worked with them from 2013 to 2015 before she made Marvelous her home in the following year.

In addition, Takumi’s mentor, Chigusa Nagayo, recently trained Iwatani. Nagayo taught the champion her new finishers, The Running Three, which Takumi also uses.

Although we wish these circumstances were better, Takumi Iroha was a good choice to replace Saree.

STARDOM’s next event will take place this Saturday, Feb. 8 at Korakuen Hall. Be sure to check back with Bell to Belles for more news and updates.
