Tessa Blanchard pulls out of BattleWorld 88′

Tessa Blanchard has pulled out of her upcoming appearance at BattleWorld 88′, which was set to take place on Jan. 31. The third generations star was scheduled to make her Vancouver debut against Dark Sheik from HoodSlam.

Last night, the promotion posted on their Twitter page that Blanchard decided to not compete.

“As of last night (January 20) @Tess_Blanchard has officially pulled herself out of BattleWorld’88 which kicks off January 31 at the Rickshaw Theatre. We will have an amazing replacement because we respect our audience and will bring the craziest show we can to Vancouver! “

The Dark Sheik responded to the promotions tweet saying, “I would’ve done my safe and honest best to entertain – and accept a person’s attempt at growth. Or she could’ve wrestled someone else. Hey, maybe she’s just sick next week. “

Blanchard has yet to respond to her reasoning for pulling out of the event but rest assure, she may not make a statement. In the last two weeks since the allegations arose regarding her bullying and racist comment, Tessa hasn’t been doing herself any favors with damage control.

This is the second event that has had to remove Tessa Blanchard from their card since the accusations. The Texas-based Heavy Metal Wrestling decided to pull Tessa the day after the first allegations came to light.
