Tessa Blanchard to challenge for Ringmaster Championship

Last night, WrestleCircus announced the card for their next show, Big Top Revival. In the main event, Lady of the Ring Champion, Tessa Blanchard, will challenge Scorpio Sky for the Ringmaster Championship.

Blanchard is the only woman who has competed for the relatively new championship, but this isn’t first shot at the title. Last February, she faced then-champion Brian Cage in a champion vs. champion match at WC The Show Must Go On. At the time, she was both the reigning Lady of the Ring and Sideshow Champion—one of only two female title holders.

Next month, she will face SoCal Uncensored member, Scorpio Sky. Sky won the title last week after he used his Carnival Cash-in to dethrone the newly-crowned champion, Sammy Guevara.

WrestleCircus is a family-owned independent wrestling promotion based in Austin, TX. It was established in 2016, and it’s notably the first pro-wrestling Twitch partner. The social networking streaming site inked a deal to broadcast their shows in June of 2017.

Since, other promotions like IMPACT and Rise have also become accessible on the platform. Now, Amazon Prime customers can subscribe to their Twitch channel and gain access to WrestleCircus’ entire video library for free.

Tessa Blanchard vs. Scorpio Sky for the Ringmaster Championship will take place at WrestleCircus: Big Top Revival on Sunday, Jun. 23.

The event will stream live on twitch.tv/WrestleCircus for free.
