The IInspiration announce their departure from in-ring work

The IInspiration have announced they will no longer compete in a wrestling ring.

Wednesday, Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, known as The IInspiration, released a statement via Twitter announcing their departure from IMPACT Wrestling, also stating they would be “indefinitely stepping away from in-ring action”, altogether.

The IInspiration issued a joint statement: “We first want to thank Scott D’Amore and the entire IMPACT family. We have had such an amazing experience, working with the incredible IMPACT staff and roster. We will cherish these IMPACT memories forever. We are excited to start a new chapter in our lives and explore other opportunities that may come our way.”

“The Inspiration have been a great part of IMPACT’s Knockouts roster and wonderful to work with,” said IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore in the statement. “Cassie and Jessie are incredibly talented performers. Everyone at IMPACT wishes them every success in the future.”

After being released from WWE as the IIconics, The IInspiration debuted for IMPACT in October at Bound For Glory 2021, winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championships from Decay (Havok and Rosemary). The duo lost the titles to The Influence (Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood) at Sacrifice 2022, in March. Since joining IMPACT, The IInspiration have competed in eight matches.
