The Top Five Women’s Tag Teams in WWE History

3. LayCool

The team of Michelle McCool and Layla, collectively know as LayCool, wreaked havoc on the women’s division during the Divas Era. Although their alliance only lasted from 2009 to 2011, their “mean girl” tactics and questionable creative storylines definitely made them the talk of WWE at the time.

LayCool always seemed to be at the forefront of storylines even though Divas matches were infamously short. No matter if it was their problematic feud with Mickie James or their feud with “The Glamazon,” Beth Phoenix, they put a hundred and ten percent into their matches.

The self-appointed co-champions were impressive both inside and outside of the ring. Along with Divas of Doom, LayCool took part in the first-ever Divas Tag Team Tables Match at the end of 2010. During their time on top, LayCool were “simply flawless.”
