It may not seem like it but WrestleMania is less than two weeks away. “The Showcase of the Immortals” will go on as scheduled at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando Florida.
This year, the event will be a two-night event for the first time ever. In addition, WrestleMania 36 will be pre-recorded in an empty arena, which will make it even more noteworthy.
Honestly, it’s a little disappointing to see the biggest event in professional wrestling confined to small spaces and it will be even more jarring without a live audience. Still, there is plenty for women’s wrestling fans to look forward to.

So far, WWE has confirmed that Bayley and Becky Lynch will defend their respective titles. Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair will challenge the first reigning NXT Women’s Champion to appear at WrestleMania, Rhea Ripley.
There is a potential WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match in the making, as well. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross seem poised for a shot at the Kabuki Warriors, but it isn’t official yet.
There is room to criticize WWE’s use of their female Superstars but this seems like the natural progression after women headlined WrestleMania last year.
It was great to see Lynch, Flair, and Ronda Rousey receive such an honor. However, true progress means more opportunities for women to perform at major events.
With that said, let’s take a look at the top five WrestleMania matches featuring women to prepare for this year’s edition.
