National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) begins their TV studio tapings on September 31st and October 1st. They have announced that three popular independent women will be involved.
Thunder Rosa, Marti Belle and Ashley Vox will be featured in the inaugural tapings for NWA. Back in August, NWA made the decision to split from their partnership with Ring of Honor and focus on their own brand, which includes a weekly television series.
The current NWA Women’s Champion, Allysin Kay, is excited to see the addition of these three ladies, particularly Ashley Vox. Whether or not Kay will face any of these women is unknown at this time.
Ashley Vox is a New England based wrestler who is one of half of The Sea Stars with her sister Delmi Exo. Her resume includes Shine, Shimmer, and Chikara to name a few.
Thunder Rosa has been making news lately, as she just signed a multi-fight contract with MMA promotion, Combate Americas. She is most known for her time with Lucha Underground under the moniker Kobra Moon,
Marti Belle is a former Impact Knockout Champion. She was also featured in the second annual WWE’s Mae Young Classic in 2018. Belle faced Allysin Kay at the ROH & NJPW co-promoted show, War Of The Worlds, earlier this year.
The NWA television tapings will take place at GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Details of when and where the show will air haven’t been announced.
