Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley will challenge Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.

According to TV Guide, WWE scheduled an NXT women’s title match for the upcoming TakeOver event. Following the events of last episode, Flair will face both Shirai and Ripley.

“The Queen” has made a lot of enemies in the NXT’s women’s division since she detroned Ripley at WrestleMania 36. Two weeks ago, the new number one contender, Io Shirai, attempted to wrest the title from her grip.

Just when Shirai looked close to victory, Flair assaulted her with a kendo stick to retain via disqualification. Afterward, Rhea Ripley made her return to the “black and gold brand” to help “The Genius of the Sky.”

Shirai didn’t take kindly to her interference, which let backstage scuffle and a one-on-one match this week. On Wednesday, Flair re-entered the fray and laid out both women to reassert her dominance.

Shirai and Ripley will have their chance for revenge in a few weeks and another chance to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

NXT TakeOver: In Your House will take place on Sunday, June 7 at 7 pm EST.
