Women’s Wrestling Army announces talent ahead of debut event
Women’s Wrestling Army (WWA) has already announced additions to their ranks ahead of their debut event.
So far, WWA has announced Holidead, Taya Valkyrie, Willow Nightingale, Janai Kai, Tasha Steelz, The Hex, and Trish Adora as talent for their upcoming event co-promoted with Women’s Wrestling Revolution Plus.
WWA also announced Lenny Leonard and Alyssa Marino as their commentary team for the show.
Of the talent announced for the show, seven currently hold titles. Adora has held the Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling World Championship since February 2020. Steelz, a member of the IMPACT roster, is the current IMPACT Knockouts Champion. Allysin Kay and Marti Belle, known as The Hex, are the current NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions, acting as the first title holders since the titles went defunct in 1984. Valkyrie won the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship from previous holder Deonna Purrazzo on April 23 at IMPACT’s Rebellion 2022. Holidead has held the main title for Mission Pro Wrestling since October. Nightingale currently holds New York Wrestling Connection’s NYWC Fusion Championship.
Women’s Wrestling Army will hold their debut show on Sunday, May 1, in conjunction with Women’s Wrestling Revolution Plus, live from Fete Music Hall in Providence, Rhode Island.
